You can change the trajectory of a child’s life by giving that child a precious gift—a little bit of your time.
Become an advocate in our community to help a child who has been removed from their home due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. It’s worth it… to make a difference in the life of a child.
CASA is vital to our community because the future of our world is in our children and I believe ALL children deserve a rich future. I am most proud to be involved with CASA because…with every success made, I’ve never heard anyone say “we’re done,” rather “good for us, but we can do more!” My fondest memory of my time with CASA is sitting in court with a beautiful little four-year old on my lap, waiting to be called into court for her adoption hearing. She was adopted into a wonderful loving family. I’ve been so lucky to see many children adopted and it’s always such a wonderful experience.
One thing I wish for CASA’s 20th birthday celebration is that our society will become a place where all families are strong and stable, where children can grow up and be in that family forever.
