Senior Advocate Supervisor since October 2006

Volunteer

You can change the trajectory of a child’s life by giving that child a precious gift—a little bit of your time.
Become an advocate in our community to help a child who has been removed from their home due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. It’s worth it… to make a difference in the life of a child.

Take Action

CASA volunteers are not just volunteers—they’re family. We get to know each other on a deeply personal level. We celebrate life events, successes stories, and grieve losses together.  I am most proud to be involved with CASA because…our volunteers are the BEST of the BEST! They are hard-working and dedicated individuals who give of themselves to ensure the safety of children in foster care.

My fondest memory of my time with CASA is  anytime a volunteer gets that Aha moment, when they realize their significance in their CASA child’s life.

One thing I wish for CASA’s 20th  birthday celebration is  that more people understand how important advocacy is for our most vulnerable infants & toddlers, children with disabilities, and high-risk teens getting ready to age out of the foster care system.
