CASA of Santa Barbara County Co-Founder
Day after day, year after year, trained CASA volunteers are appointed by Juvenile Courts judges to represent abused and neglected children and make sure their basic needs and rights are not ignored. It is a unique nonprofit organization whose major goal and work is performed largely by volunteers….volunteers trained, and supported by a dedicated staff and the generous support of the community. This is a remarkable concept and I am immensely proud and awed by the idea and success of CASA and the small role I played in its inception.
You can change the trajectory of a child's life by giving that child a precious gift—a little bit of your time.
Become an advocate in our community to help a child who has been removed from their home due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. It’s worth it… to make a difference in the life of a child.
